Nightset is a mobile platform that connects the entire nightlife ecosystem. A companion for the night, the app allows people to discover the best party in town, broadcast their night to the public in real-time, book events and guest lists, and meet like-minded people.
The client specified a two part brief: Firstly to increase user engagement to increase retention rates as 80% of new users leave the platform after the first week, Citing a recent marketing campaign as an example of user retention. Secondly, to optimise and clarify the apps navigation as features need to be better communicated.

Personalising the experience – Gamification of the app
Offering incentives to users such as leadership boards and points ranking can instantly boost their involvement with your service. Gamification brings in the fun factor!
We met the client project over and above what was expected with introducing of some key features to drive ROI. A particular success factor, is the introduction of the branding development recommendation such as Tone of Voice and gamification features to personlise the App. Linking in the Tone of Voice concept by Norman Nielsen, again reiterated user engagement. We also optimised the navigation in the App, improving the onboarding phase and optimised the filter menu. Nightset have since introduced our gamification recommendations with a noticeable increase in conversion rate.
